WE PLAN TO RE-GATHER

We Are Planning To Gather Again!

The Ministry Team at Pine Terrace is excited to share that we will resume on campus Sunday worship gatherings on May 17th. This will be Phase 1 of our re-gathering strategy. Therefore, several things will be different than they were prior to our gatherings before COVID-19. But non-the-less, we are excited to use this opportunity to re-connect with you back on our campus. So the following are some of the changes to be aware of as we begin gathering together on May 17th.

GENERAL OBSERVATIONS & GUIDELINES FOR YOUR SAFETY

The following “Re-gather Strategy" and decisions have been made in response to endless communication with other church leaders, complete honor of our respected government officials, and heavy amounts of prayer.

  • We want to continue practicing the safety precautions and preventive actions provided to us from the Centers for Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and our local government officials. You can read more below about the steps we are taking to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.

  • As a result of social distancing guidelines, we are limited to 25% or 300 person capacity in each gathering. If you plan on attending worship on campus, please fill out our commitment card and indicate which gathering you will commit to attending. CLICK HERE FOR COMMITMENT CARD.

  • If you are sick, have a fever, present any symptoms of a cold, flu, COVID-19, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days we ask that you please stay home. We care about your health and safety and encourage you to continue attending online if you are in a high-risk category during Phase 1.

PHASE 1: ON-CAMPUS GATHERINGS

Gathering Times and Locations
On-Campus:
  • Family Worship - Sundays @ 8:30 am & 10:30 am
    • Exterior Doors Open - 8:15am & 10:15am

Online Campus:

Phase 1: On-Campus Gathering Observations
  • During Phase 1, we will only hold “family worship gatherings” in our main worship center on Sunday mornings.

  • Connection Groups will not be meeting in person on campus. This does not exclude connection groups to meet in person. At your comfort, you can meet with your small groups in your homes, outdoor picnic, backyard barbecue, etc. If your current small group is meeting via Zoom, or on another online meeting platform during the new gathering times, your Connections Leader will communicate if your group’s meeting time has changed.

  • Kids & Preschool Worship will continue to air live online on Sunday mornings, but at a new time: 9:45 AM. If your family is joining us in person, but your children would still like to participate, you can view Kids Worship on our website, Youtube channel, or the Pine Terrace Kids Facebook page any time after the live broadcast.

  • We will not be kicking off any on-campus midweek gatherings and Wednesday Night activities during Phase 1. We hope you will continue joining us for our live Fireside Chats Podcast that we will continue to broadcast on Facebook Live, Website, Mobile App, and Livestream. Our Fireside Chats Podcast is your front row seat to the newest weekly updates of what is happening here at Pine Terrace.

  • Pine Terrace Students will continue their online Cluster Groups, Sunday evening Bible studies on YouTube at 6:30 pm, and online Wednesday gatherings on Facebook Live at 7:30 pm.

WE BELIEVE IN GOING THE EXTRA MILE FOR YOU

Intentional Cleaning & Care:
  • The Worship Center has been set up to allow for social distancing. Our leadership team and maintenance team have measured and observed the standards — six feet between family units.

  • Common gathering spaces of the building will be closed. This includes the coffee area in our Atrium Foyer and the Welcome Desk. We ask that if you see someone you would like to catch up with, that you do so outside in the parking lot from a safe distance.

  • Greeters and Ushers will be wearing masks. Instead of shaking hands, hugging, and high fives, we will air five, air hug, wave, and smile!

  • If you would like to wear a mask you are welcome to but we will not require that you do so. We ask that if you need to sneeze or cough, please cover your mouth and nose or sneeze into your elbow.

  • Before and after each gathering, the Worship Center and all high-touch surfaces will be disinfected. We will allow people to enter after these procedures have been completed.

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be set up throughout the building, and we encourage their frequent use.

  • During the services we will continually disinfect surfaces in restrooms and other high-touch areas.

  • Water fountains will not be available for use.

  • We will not be distributing a bulletin or any other printed materials. Offering envelopes will be available in the pews. You can drop these off in the baskets marked for them at each exit when leaving. We encourage you to continue giving online if you are able.

  • Download our Pine Terrace Mobile App. This is our favorite resource because we have provided several resources for you digitally, that you can access quickly from your phone, such as: Fill-in Teaching Notes, the Bible, Online Giving, our Connect Card, Membership Card, Prayer Request, etc. DOWNLOAD HERE!

Parking, Entering, & Exiting
  • Both the North and South parking lots will be available for parking.

  • The Exterior Doors of our foyers and Worship Center will only open 15 minutes prior to the gathering. If you arrive early we ask that you remain in your vehicles and/or outside, until our team has unlocked the doors. We plan to make sure all high-touch surfaces and bathrooms are disinfected to the best of our ability and for you and your family to enter safely.

  • Due to social distancing guidelines, our Cart Team will not be servicing the parking lots. If you are physically capable of walking, we ask that you leave all parking spaces close to the Worship Center available for those who have will require more physical assistance.

  • All exterior doors into the Worship Center will be accessible for entry.

  • When you enter the Worship Center, an Usher will help direct you to a seating area for your family.

  • Due to our limited 25% or 300 person capacity in each gathering, our team will begin seating families and individuals beginning in our front pews to the back pews of our Worship Center. This is simply to help our team ensure that we maintain our gathering capacity.

  • At the end of our Gathering, our team will help dismiss and direct you in exiting the building quickly and safely.

  • Again, the exterior doors of the church will close again for cleaning after the 8:30 am gathering attendance has fully exited the building for cleaning and preparation for our 10:30 am gathering. Remember the exterior doors will remain closed until 15 minutes before worship begins.

None of our health and safety precautions or Phase 1 of our Re-gather Strategy is motivated by fear. Rather, it is encouraged by our faith in Christ’s provision and His guidance, as well as, our faithfulness to our church family by putting first the health and safety of Pine Terrace and our community.

We'll see you soon!!
