Quarantine life - How to live in close proximity of your family?

Family Devotion this week will center around Grace. Utilize a verse and letter from the acronym each night this week at the dinner table to have you own family devotion! Let us know in the comments how it went!

Scripture about Grace Ephesians 2: 8-9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
Grace is a gift!  There is nothing we can do to deserve it.  It’s freely given.

- Gratitude - Be thankful for the people in your life and the opportunity that God has presented for you to spend with them
Daily Verse: Colossians 3:17

R - Resist the negative emotions - alter the way your first response is delivered - we have a tendency to react before we think about what we say, but once it comes out of our mouth, it’s hard to take it back.
Daily Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:11

- Adjust your thinking - The things you see your spouse or your kids are doing “Wrong” are probably not intentional.  They believe that you are home so therefore you are “available.”
Daily Verse: Hebrews 4:16

C - Communicate kindly - acknowledge that this being together is hard for all of us.  Talk about what you miss the most - or what are some things you want to do when we’re able to get back out.
Daily Verse: Colossians 4:6

- Express appreciation - Grace is an undeserved gift that God bestows on us every day because He loves us.  We need to be willing to extend that grace to others we love as well.
Daily Verse: Philippians 4:6

What does this look like in your family?  Are there any ideas you may have that could help someone else with toddlers, teens or spouses during this time?  Let us know!

Pray - if you have prayer needs - let us know by going to our website.  It’s confidential!  We would love to have the opportunity to pray for you no matter how big or how small the request.
