Our team at Pine Terrace have been processing our response as a local church in light of the global concern surrounding the Coronavirus. So we have decided to share with you some things maybe you and your family should consider:

1.  Concern about the virus is on people's hearts and minds, and rightly so.  Its impact on health, lives, communities, and the economy is apparent.  With that, our first response is to center our focus on the faithfulness God and by relying on His Word.  God is in control.  We trust Him, and our faith is in Him in all things of life.  Psalm 56:3 says, "When I am afraid I put my trust in You."

2. We want to practice safety precautions and everyday preventive actions as we see outlined from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO):

3.  If it happens that there are major disruptions locally (cancelations of schools/industry) we will adjust our schedule at Pine Terrace appropriately.  We would also look to alternate avenues of connectedness through online worship services and ministry.

4.  Peter Burmeister, our Missions Pastor, is staying precisely aware of the virus and its impact on global travel the restrictions.  As soon as possible, Peter Burmeister will inform missions teams of any changes and/or cancelations to their currently scheduled PTBC mission trips. You can also find information on a larger Baptist response to the virus below.

5.  Pray.  Pray that the Lord will use us in the midst of this crisis to be image bearers of love and grace, and most importantly ambassadors of the Gospel!

Please contact our church office during regular office hours 850-623-3954 if you have any concerns about this issue.
